Summer Orchestras and Ensembles Concert 2026

The start of the summer was kicked off with a beautiful concert by the SETU Orchestras and Ensembles at St Patrick’s Gateway Theatre on May 27th. It was a truly inspiring evening, showcasing the incredible talent and versatility of SETU’s musicians. From the rich sound of the SETU Guitar Ensemble and the vibrant energy of the SETU Irish Traditional Music Orchestra to the power of the SETU Orchestra, every performance was engaging and memorable. Featured soloist Amber Shamshad and The Dillons added further highlights, making this a wonderful celebration of music and live performance.

A special congratulations also goes to Amber, who scooped the Deirdre Scanlon Young String Player Award.
